The gameplay of Portals is sophisticated in its implementation but simple in actual playing. The players would control the main character Chell in clearing the test and exercises revolving around using the portals - the name of Portals - to get around the obstacles. The other fun aspect is that Portals can open at any location which allows the players to go through different surfaces which creates interesting effects. One of the factors that makes Portals special is the design of the tests and exercises. Developers used their imagination and skills to build tests that are complex but not impossible to players. Uses a logical and creative thinking players would be able to beat each test, and getting that feeling of achievement when beating them is another part of the game.

How To Play

Use the mouse to control and shoot the portal: left click to create an orange portal, right click to create a blue portal. Use the W, A, S, D keys to move, the E key to interact with objects. Press the Shift key to run fast and the Space key to jump.
