Icy Purple Head . Super Slide is an extraordinarily engaging physics-based puzzle game where a purple-headed square (or ice cube-headed square) is placed in multiple obstacles, and the player has to guide it to an endpoint. The Purple Head retains some friction while in normal form, allowing it to stick to surfaces and gain motion. Whenever the player presses the screen, the Purple Head is switched into Ice Blue Head, which is notorious for its extreme slipperiness, and the Purple Head is now able to glide with little to zero control.

The game mechanics are masterfully intertwined with the puzzles. In order to take full advantage of the Purple Head’s dual abilities, levels are designed with masterful cunningness. Players often find themselves in scenarios where they are required to perfectly time their transitions to cover gaps, climb steep areas, or navigate complex surfaces. A state change that has been wrongly timed will result in Purple Head being sent flying off the screen or falling into a pit. A level will then need to be restarted, and almost all measures to precisely time the transitions will need to be taken.
